Vicky Bania was born and raised in Athens, Greece. She finished High School and then studied Business Administration at the St George College in Athens. In 2000 while still a student, she began her involvement with music by playing as a guest dj at various well known clubs in Athens such as Kalua, U-matic, Club 22, Motel, Soul Stereo, Danza, Lobby, Bossa Nostra just to name a few. In 2003 she took part in the competition “Heineken Thirst” and managed to win 3rd place by public vote, among 2400 participations from Greece. During the same period, she was offered to have her own show at the most known radio station of Greece “Best 92,6” and begun her very successful show “Future dj Zone” which was broadcasted every weekend 01:00 – 3:00. In 2005 she collaborated with the popular Greek music magazine “Freeze”, having her own column presenting the new releases of each month. In June 2009 she was voted as the 17th most popular Greek dj among 100 participants at the “Best dj Awards”. In July 2011 she did her first music production as a producer and vocalist in the track “Paradise” in collaboration with Consoul Trainin, a well known in Greece dj and producer. This production was released by Nuevo records in September 2011 and managed to become one of the biggest hits of summer 2011, even before its official release. Vicky Bania appears as a guest dj in many clubs in Greece and abroad with her successful “Music is Female” parties, while she is also resident dj at the popular lifestyle events “Sex & The City Nights” which take place in the most luxurious hotels in Greece, Cyprus and London.
